11/12 Presentation of Learning: Due January 20.
Instructions - before completing the form, please prepare as follows:
1. Make a video recording of your best playing (about 30 seconds or so). Chose any music that highlights your best abilities.
Make sure you can access from the device you will use to complete this form. Possibilities: Save to your
hard drive, on your device, or in the cloud. It will probably be an mp3 file. You might need help with this - but that's part of it - you will reflect on your learning curve as you possibly struggle with that technical stuff!
If you struggle with the technical stuff (recordings), you still need to complete the form by the due date...and you will reflect on your learning process...technology often gives us struggles!
2. LISTEN to your playing and REFLECT ON YOUR LEARNING through this online form.
3. Find an online example of a
master musician
playing on your instrument. Be ready to copy/Paste the URL (maybe from YouTube)

REFLECTION PIECE PROMPTS: Use 3 of these writing prompts:
The piece of music shows...
The best part is...
If I did it again, I would...
It was hard for me to learn...
I used to think...but now I know...
Three things I want you to notice about my work are...
I was surprised to learn that...
A question I am curious about and want to find the answer to is...
I was on the right track about my idea about...but what I didn’t know was...
Today my thinking is like...because both...
Three things I wonder about...
What were you trying to do today?
How do you feel about what you were doing?
What part did you struggle with?
What changes did you make?
How did your thinking change?
If you were going to do this again, what changes would you make?
Today we worked on...
The part I like best is...
The part I like least is...
I’m having trouble with...
Something I’d change is...
I learned that...
I wish I had been told more about...
The part that still confuses me...
I agreed with...
I disagreed with...
I was surprised that...
This work reminds me of...
I tried to make connections by...
I found it easy to...
I had some trouble...but I solved it by...
I still wonder...
When I made my plan I thought about...
First I decided on...
Next I thought about...
Then I...
Most of my time was spent...
The biggest problem was...
Next time I would...
