How??? - Use the "Yah-Yah/ Uh-Uh" exercises.
The exercises are NOT going to sound wonderful…but they WILL work by
YOUR HOME PRACTICE: Every 2nd Day, 15 minutes: Vocal Warm Up 1 (Open Voice), 2 (Increase Range), and now 3 (Improve Tone)
How??? - Use the "Yah-Yah/ Uh-Uh" exercises.
The exercises are NOT going to sound wonderful…but they WILL work by
- Nasal tones get better with tongue placement. Tongue is above vocal cords…makes sense!
- 1:40 Shows tongue/jaw/ placement
- 4:30 "Yah Yah" in front of mirror - this technique also insists you use great air support.
- 5:30 "Uh" - staccato - on scales. Strengthens vocal cords, and gives "step" accuracy. Drop shoulders to relax muscles.
- Use "Letter B" in lip roll. Use hands to support lip rolls.
YOUR HOME PRACTICE: Every 2nd Day, 15 minutes: Vocal Warm Up 1 (Open Voice), 2 (Increase Range), and now 3 (Improve Tone)
- 9:15: "YAH YAH" or "Uh-Uh" to Arpeggio (1-3-5-8)
