- April 13th-15th - The BC Interior Jazz Festival - All grade 9-12 Jazz Bands and select combos
- April 17th-23rd - The Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival - Grade 11/12 tour participants.
- May 15th-19th - Alberta Performance Tour - Grade 9 and 10 tour participants
- June 7th - Commercial Music "Playing for Hope" Concert at the Metro Hub
- June TBA - Concert Band and Choir Final Spring Concert
- June TBA - Jazz Band Final Spring Concert

Program Highlights
OKANAGAN CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL
Our Grade 11/12 Concert Band recently performed in the Okanagan Concert Band Festival in Penticton and the students performed incredibly. They received a "Superior" rating in all categories earning a perfect score! This has never happened at OKM since Ms. Frederick has been here (2007) and one of the adjudicators searched us out to tell us the group was one of the best group he's ever heard in the 17 years he's been adjudicating!
We are super proud of how hard this crew of students worked! Thank you for showcasing OKM in such a positive light and for being incredible role models for the younger festival participants. Here's some back stage video clips of our performance and fun photos!

NIGHT OF THE ARTS!
The community packed into the multi on Dec. 12th to watch students from Combo, Commercial Music, Choir, Theatre, and Dance perform their hearts out! It was wonderful to see 3 of our fine arts departments come together to showcase the awesome work students are doing in our building. On top of that, the fine arts team worked with our leadership program to fundraising for 'The Bridge', which provides support to teens struggling with mental health, addictions, and homelessness. Through the generosity of our audience, we were able to provide a large donation to their program. A huge shout out also goes to grade 10 musician and photographer, Kevin Kim, for documenting the night and submitting these amazing photos!

Our OKM Senior Combo, "Friends of Frederick" with special guest, OKM Alumni - Francisco Rubi, had the honour of performing an hour long set at the Opening Ceremonies of Kelowna's Cultural Days on Sept. 24th. It was great way to kick off the school year! Stay tuned for a photo review by eiKelowna.
