Cuba Payment Details
Upcoming 2nd payment due February 20th. All students received a personalized invoice and a school cash online payment is set up for this second payment.
The total tour cost is estimated at $2,870 per student. The budget is made based on the final number of student participants and additional travel and airport fees based on the instruments travelling with us. The good news is that our tour company is working very hard to find savings for us and we will continue to work to find ways to cut costs. We never know exactly what the airline will charge for the large, oversized instruments but we work hard to negotiate the lowest fees possible. We would love to run another fundraising campaign to help families with these costs! Please reach out if you can help run one or two this spring!
There is one more payment after this one which will be due in March. All fees must be paid a minimum of a month before departure to meet our suppliers' rules. However, fundraising campaigns can run right up until the end of May. If we can enlist a crew of parents that would like to help run a fundraiser and students raise funds after their payments have been made, the school can make payments back to families! It is not too late to run another Purdy's Campaign in time for Easter. Please contact us right away if you are interested in leading this campaign or any other campaign.
